Date : 06-10-2017, Friday No. of Student: 81 Year / Semester: I & II / I & III Faculty Coordinator: Mr.KM.Murugappan & Mrs.M.Amuthamalar Details of Visit: Modern Bakers Private Limited (Parle G Plant), Mr. Raj Paul, Director discussed about baking process of biscuits & cookies. The entire batch of II MBA & I MBA comprising budding managers and future entrepreneurs visited the biscuit manufacturing facility gaining practical exposure to management skills and functions. A 20 minute corporate video on Parle G history and the production process was shown for basic understanding of the factory setup. The students were taken inside the Parle G baking plant in batches and explained by skilled personnel on various stages of production, starting from raw material loading till packing of the finished products. The students were able to gain insights on preventive measures to be taken inside a manufacturing facility including safety, cleanliness and other quality guidelines.
