National Level Technical Symposium VIRTUZA 2K18, organized by Dept of CSE, IT, ECE, EEE, EIE, Mech, Management Studies, on 07 Apr 2018

Honorable Chairman: Shri. K.V. Thangkabalu, Thangavelu Group of Colleges Respected Principal: Dr.K.Dhinesh Kumar, Thangavelu Engineering College Date of Event: 07-04-2018, Saturday Venue: Auditorium Time: 9.30 AM VIRTUZA 2K18 the National Level Technical Symposium of Thangavelu Engineering College was conducted on 7th April 2018 at 9.30 AM in our College Auditorium. The inaugural function started with Tamilthai Vazhthu. Shri.K.V.Thangkabalu, Chairman, Thangavelu Group of Colleges inaugurated the function by Lighting the kuthu villaku. Prof.K.Senthil Kumar, Coordinator, VIRTUZA 2K18, gave an introduction about VIRTUZA 2K18. Dr.K.Dhineshkumar, Principal of Thangavelu Engineering College delivered the Welcome address. The presidential address was given by honorable chairman Shri.K.V.Thangkabalu, Chairman, Thangavelu Group of Colleges. Dr.R.Velraj. Director,Institute of energy studies, Anna University, Chennai delivered the inaugural address and Er.C.Jayabalan, Manager (Electrical),Chennai Airport was a guest of honor. Students from Various colleges participated in various events like paper presentation,ad zap mini milta,technical quiz,magic bricks, etc to name a few. More than 350 papers are presented and around 600 students have participated from 8 departments. In the Valedictory function Prof.R.Nandakumar Co-coordinator presented the closing report of VIRTUZA 2K18. Principal Dr.K.Dhineshkumar, Thangavelu Engineering College distributed prizes to the winners of all events. The function ended with vote of thanks by Prof.R.Ranjinadevi, AP, Dept of ECE followed by the National Anthem.
